So while trying the Weapon Shield 1/4 ounce needle applicator, I was very impressed how easy it is to control the amount of oil being applied. The needle applicator allows you to apply a consistent amount of oil without over applying which will help eliminate waste.

We have a poll going on on the forum asking the following question “Should We Cancel GRRN Bar Stool Discussion?”. Please click on the link and let us know what you think.

Again I apologize for this episode because it’s over an hour, but at least it’s an hour shorter than the last episode. So yes you guessed it is just over two hours but we tried to go shorter than last episode and if you don’t vote in poll it may be a real short next time.

Let us know whether you noticed that there was absolutely no preparation for this episode whatsoever. We did end up talking quite a bit about technology but then we brought it back to guns and gun rights.

We do have a lot of fun with these episodes but we also would like to know that someone out there is listening to and enjoying them. Maybe if we continue on maybe one of you fun listeners would like to get in on the conversation with us sometime (if you can keep up).

I was able to drive into Chicago on July 9 to attend the third annual Second Amendment Freedom Rally and I was very glad I did.

The main reason for the trip was to record the rally audio and some interviews for my podcast (Gun Rights Advocates Podcast) and to support my former fellow citizens. See I was born in Chicago our family had left more than 30 years ago, but I still have a very close bond with the city of my parents and grandparents.

But also I am very glad that we’ve moved into the state of Indiana where the government respects the rights of its citizens. See I just finished my application for a lifetime license to carry a handgun. This is something that the citizens of Chicago could only have dreamed about in the past. But after the decision in the Supreme Court on June 28, 2010 it helps to put them one step closer towards the freedom that their neighboring state Indiana already has.

Had a wonderful time talking with a lot of the participants and attendees at the rally. Everyone was very upbeat and excited, that was much different than a year ago when it was still uncertain how far the McDonald case would go.

Speaking of McDonald, Otis was there and it was very special to meet man whose name will most likely be part of constitutional law for a very long time. If you think about everything he’s had to go through in his life and then in the years that should be relaxation and retirement he takes on the Chicago political machine and the gang bangers in his neighborhood. He’s a very special man and you can see that in the photograph below.

On the same day we should also get a ruling from the Supreme Court on Chicago vs. McDonald. The case that will finally allow the fine citizens of Chicago to protect their homes with firearms.

Looking at the top of my laptop you can see I have several pro-gun stickers attached. I would really like to see a Gun Rights Radio Network sticker on they are also.

So the contest, we need a design so that we can order some GRRN stickers to give out to our listeners. So if you are artistically inclined and would like to design a sticker for the network we will judge and pick the best one. The winner will receive a prize, yet to be determined. But you’ll like it and you be helping the network. Plus you get free stickers of your design!

How to Enter: Use the contact form above to contact me and I will send you an e-mail address where you can send your entry. You’ll be asked to send a high-quality JPG or a Photoshop file.

I know we are all looking forward to the future and what we can do with our podcasts and the network.
This photograph represents a lot of what gun rights activists believe in at least in principle.

If you don’t want to have someone pry it from your cold dead hands then maybe you should consider joining one of the national gun rights advocacy groups like the National Rifle Association.

You can get a membership for as little as $10 a year.
