Doc and myself were pretty disappointed that we had very little feedback on our last three hour episode and we would just like to know. Should we cancel the Bar Stool Discussion episodes after the one we are recording tonight?

This poll will run for 30 days and then we will make our decision.

Oh. Hell. No.

I find your and Doc's talks some of the most intelligent, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and just plain entertaining discussions around.  It's like listening to two pros talking shop.  I look forward to each 'cast.  Just wish they would come more often than once a year. ;^)'

Enjoyed Bar Stool #13.  Especially, "Tech Talk" and the NRA position discussion.  Learned things I haven't heard on other Tech podcasts like Leo Laportes'.  And the NRA discussion was excellent.

Thanks!

tried gspace, it was an epic fail for me.....  but thats alright, I figured out that I can do that same exact thing with google docs, and yall got me into evernote with the last one, now I'm figuring out all the ways to use it.... geeze that thing is wildly awesome.

Buff (Josh)... I am feeling you on that...
you have to have Firefox for Gspace.. and it is very finicky
Refresh it while you are signing in and it will work..
Once you figure it out.. you will be very happy that you can save in the cloud..for ZERO dollars...
I will be happy to help you w/ it one on one.. I plan on coming out with a database that will work for your inventory of firearms... free.... and gspace will be a great asset to back up..
PM me or email me and I will make it priority to help you.. then next barstool... Mark and I will discuss the shortcomings.. to help other listeners...'
Showing love to our listeners is our moto...

Honestly Doc, after getting frustrated with it and letting it roll around in the back of my mind, it hit me that using Google Docs actually is a little better (from what I have been able to think through so far).  It allows me to upload ANYTHING, download ANYTHING (just like gspace), and I dont have to be on a firefox equipped machine with gspace add-on to get to it.  I can actually view PDF's and listen to audio files from my iPhone via Google Docs.
I got gspace to upload some really small files, it showed them as uploaded, then when I went to the other computer it wouldn't show them as there, and I couldn't find them in my gmail via the search function. (I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to do that or not)
I was able to get 2 100meg+ PDF's uploaded from computer A and downloaded on computer B, as well as viewed on my iPhone via the Google Docs interface, as well as a 30second mp3.
Other than the benefits listed above, is there any reason that I should further look into gspace?  Have you looked into the uses of Google Docs instead of gspace?

Just listened to the podcast and I had fun listening to Mark and Doc. I kinda skipped the the Evernote part. Not that I don't think I need it, but rather I  feel to lazy to learn about a new software right now. I'm sure I'll give it a re-listen next week.

Mark, I listen to your Gun Rights Advocate podcast not only for your feature content but also to get a "State of GRRN" update. It's a great way not only to get an update on what's going on but also to find out in what areas/topics we can concentrate on.

I do miss the ones where you'd have Gail there as well.
it would be kinda fun to have a Bar Stool discussion kinda "Vicious Circle" style (if you dont know VC, you're either not reading enough gun blogs or you dont listen to enough podcasts... either way, http://snarkybytes.com/ViciousCircle/ is the link)
