Thanks for posting my review, Mark!!   Grin

The video attached is not me and it looks like the 454 Puma with the more common 20" barrel.  As I want another one of these carbines (again, my girlfriend has claimed mine for her side of the bed  Kiss ), I may buy a 20" version as well.

Hopefully, my reviews will be a little better in the future with fewer "ah....'s" and "....and.......'s" but I am glad to finally participate in GRRN beyond just the forums!

I'd be happy to answer any questions about the Puma (my version, at least) so feel free to post here or contact me.

Thought this was a great review.  Was good to know more about it, and the idea of it as a camp gun, for brush, or defensive use.

Thanks for the kind words!

The Puma in .454 really is an amazing and versitile little carbine.  And as I said, my girlfriend and I have total confidence in the power and simplicity of it in case of a high-adrenaline encounter.... be it at home or camping.  I just wish it had sling studs!  Oh well..... That will give my gunsmith something to do!  Roll Eyes

Do you have receiver sights mounted on the Puma? I have XS sights on my Marlin 1894 .357 and it was amazing how quickly you can pick up the sight picture.
Here's a thought, find a way to mount a flashlight on that thing. Tactical Levergun!
