I went to my first match yesterday. It was great.I was really surprised how helpful and friendly everyone was. I think I might scale back to a xd9 though instead of my 45,just for cost sake.I can't wait for next month!

mattman23,
Have you replayed every shot in your head a thousand times yet? It get's in your blood, don't it? I had to miss this month's match and next month is a BUG gun match which I'll probably miss also. Had to go and buy a timer for my home range to get my fix. We've made a portable door, wall with a window, got three plastic barrells, made our own target stands and bought targets and pasters. It's a sickness. We do a little "mini-match" every Friday afternoon at 4:30. And, if Edwin will ever re-classify, he'll have to shoot in Sharp Shooter for CDP.
Welcome to my addiction.

It's definitly a fast acting adiction. One of the guys I shoot with father has some land not too far out. We decided to make a mini course there to practice. Can't wait to try service rifle this summer now

IDPA is very addictive and even more so with friendly shooters.
Somebody posted a video of the stages from the last Florida State Match. Enjoy!
