Finally a new episode. I'm not complaining Doc because I heard you've been pretty busy. I'm also concerned about Sottomayor's nomination. Once there are enough more SC Justices that want to legislate from the bench then the president can bypass the Congress and Senate. What's worse is that can't vote a SC Justice out of office.
I enjoyed Averagejoe's commentary on advance training. Although I disagree with him regarding revolvers or choice of defensive firearm. I understand that it was his choice and works for him and we'll leave it at that.
Coincidentally, the Alvin York movie was being shown on cable this weekend. Too bad they slipped on the part about the Springfield rifle. He used a U.S. M1917 Enfield. Just the same it was a great movie that pays tribute to a great man.
Hey maybe next time you can talk about Audie Murphy.
Take care and fave fun, Doc.

J,
Right you are.....
M1917 Enfield... surprised York didn't correct them on set.
I hear that he placed a ban on smoking on set...
When Gary Cooper fired one up... York stopped everything....
They couldn't find another actor to take Cooper's place, so Cooper apologized.. and only then York allowed him to continue...
I am with you on Revolvers.... mine works fine for "tactical" use.
What am I going to do w/ Joe??? LOL
Will look into Audie....
Thanks for post.

Was the Audie Murphy bio movie called "To Hell and Back"?  anyways I remember  watching the movie about him as a little kid and thinking this guy is so cool.  I would love to hear a segment or show about him.

Anyways, great show as always Doc.  Also send regards to Average Joe Wink
