Soldier on! Doc, you have a great show, one that I look forward to each week.
You've heard from me via email but I thought I'd help prime the pump on these forums, which are a great idea.
The Average Joe reviews are a real plus. Thanks for the great information, the warmth that remains unmitigated by cold fiberoptics and digitalization, and the all-around good times. It is my belief that you and all the Gun Rights folks, including Kenn, the ProArms group, and everyone else on the GRRN shows (not to mention gun rights shows outside the network), have rekindled a lot of what is best about mass communications. The tone is always civil and convivial--none of the "brash for brash's sake" in-your-face attitude of the great bulk of TV and radio shows. And heck, it's about guns and freedom, two of my favorite--and inextricably linked--topics.
To you, Doc, and your compadres, thank you from a very grateful listener.

Hello, Eric. Yes, I was using "admonition" in a mildly ironic way, which is to say I was not admonishing anyone per se, but verbally play-acting: assuming the role of the tough guy only to reverse the role by saying "great job." Whether my irony was successful is another matter. I will say that I firmly approve of anyone who cares enough about language to submit a post like yours, and so to you I offer the (un-ironic) words: Soldier on!

Hooah for literacy and thanks for listening to the network! You got that right! And you are welcome, although it is I who should be thanking you and the other podcasters for the work you do. Listening is simply a pleasure.

As I just said to Eric, the GRRN 'casts are simply terrific. I get such a kick from them, such a lot of good information, and such interesting viewpoints. But I will stop gushing now.

Thanks Jack for the kind words. We will never have that brash in-your-face kind of tone. We're just a bunch of friends sitting around talking about guns. Gail
