Laugh at the Bastards!!!

« on: October 31, 2010, 10:56:37 AM »

.
I've drunk Steve Job's Apple flavored Kool-Aid, and bought a 4G iPod Touch.  Gotta say, pretty dang cool.

I've also discovered the world of Apps. Really amazing.

Of the 40,000 available Apps, which one are the Must Haves?  Your favorites?  Gunnie apps? Recommendations for a case?

I've already found Skype, Google, WSJ, Fox News, VoterFraud, Kindle, Office2, Scanner, Evernote, Flashlight, and Schlock Mercenary.   ;^)'   39,989 apps to go!

Thanx!

Have all the same applications on my android phone. Also have an iPod Touch so I am familiar with the application you have on the iPhone.

I find myself doing almost everything with my phone except making phone calls Wink

Shottimer by Surefire is a good shot timer app and handy for doing dryfire using the par time feature.

Apparently, the 4G iPhone/iTouch microphones have a noise limiter function that confuses the shot timers.  I'm going to wait until there are updates.

Angry Birds

Yes, it's a game, but it's one of the absolute best casual games made.

The Google mobile app is amazing.
I really like Star Walk.
Units and Stanley Level are useful.
See if VLC is still available, and do so quickly before it gets yanked by the developer.
Bump.  Great mobile transfer software.
I like Yelp.  Facebook is ok.

Other than that, I have a LOT of games.  I can recommend some if you like.
