I think Bob is fitting in rather well. Glad he's on-board.

So when I was at the Steel plate into in Carrollton this week all the Glocks in our squad functioned flawlessly meanwhile the guy with the 1911 had 3 failures, one of them had the thing locked up so tight that the range safety officer had to come over with tools the mag was jammed in and the slide wouldn't move.  It was pretty ugly.  I was watching that and thinking if that was that guys carry gun and he had an emergency he would be dead...

....and I've been at USPSA matches where every 1911 in my squad ran fine and all of the Glocks jammed....however to be fair most of those Glocks had been messed with one way or another for competition...but then so had the 1911's.  Roll Eyes  I don't think its fair to claim one design is inherently more reliable than another.  I'm sure it has a lot to do with how the owner maintains their pistol, what magazines they're using and ammo quality.  There are a lot of variables besides who designed the firearm.

Don't forget this was suppose to be a joke!  I know better than to get into a real Glock vs. 1911 discussion.  That's always a losing proposition.  Shoot straight and shoot safe!
