I'll be up there. I'm driving up from the
Peoples Republic of China
, I mean Illinois on Friday.
I hear that Wisconsin now issues us a firearm and ammo when we cross the border.
I've shot at Ripon before, great place and people, I'm looking forward to it, see you there.

Steve,
I just looked at the match book and saw something I didn't expect, so I haven't practiced it.
Starting Position: Seated in Kayak
Will the kayak be floating and if so, will you get DQ'd if you shoot a hole in it?
See you there,

We changed it to a canoe but it will not be floating. Yes, you will get DQ'd shoot it and I will have a lot to explain to my boss if that happens (my company provided the boat) so I would appreciate it if you wouldn't

We had a great time at the match.
A huge thanks to Steve and all the others who worked so hard to put this on.
The canoe stage and the stage where we shot laying on our stomachs on a cot were fun, but I liked stage 1 best, you started on your knees with hands on head with two targets right in front of you, they are bad guys arguing over who gets to shoot you and drop their gun in the struggle, on the signal you picked up a Ruger GP100 and engage the two close targets and one further with the revolver, then make your way to your gun to finish the rest. I had never a seen a stage where they provided a second gun in the scenario. It was very cool!
I took 3rd in SSP/Marksman and my buddy Pete took 2nd, the winner smoked us by 50 seconds, he could have won sharpshooter by 10 seconds, and been in the middle of the expert class. I hope he gets a big bump.
Pete won a XDm compact 40 in the prize drawings and I won a XDm hat. He didn't offer to give me the gun to go with my hat...so I gave him the hat to go with his gun.
Here are two videos we took:

Bill,
It was great to meet you and I'm glad you had a good time at the match. If the shooters had half as much fun as the SO's then I would have to say the match was a success!
My "hatcam" went T/U and everything I recorded was lost but I'll see if I can find some video of the match on Youtube and post the links.
EDIT: Here is a link to stage 2 (the one I was on):
