Wonder if this is now a good enough reason for anyone in MD who applies for concealed carry to be granted it? It should be, but I have a feeling for the folks running the state of MD, it's not. These things usually happen in gun free zones and from what I've been hearing from listeners in Maryland, it's a "gun free zone." Hopefully the SAF's lawsuit there will be successful.

I hope he doesn't blow up the penguins. I really like them..... On a serious note. News reports indicate he is an environmental extremist (eco-terrorist... and I guess with a bomb strapped on him the terrorist label is appropriate).

So if he's an environmental extremist, what type of environmental damage would he have done if he detonated the bombs? All because he doesn't like the programming of the Discovery Channel? Naw...Maryland...nor any other state for that matter needs shall issue concealed carry...all of these crises can be easily handled by talking to the suspect. Negotating, that's the answer. Talk to them nicely and they will let go right?  Sound like good shootin' by the cops who took him out. Glad to see it. |

This just in...
Earlier reports state that a couple of Black and White uniforms were the ones to take out the gunman.. it now seems that it was actually penguins that shot and killed the gunman.

First rule of gunfighting - have a gun. Second rule of gun fighting - have a real one because your opponant will assume your gun is real and respond accordingly, even if your's is a fake. Third rule of gunfighting - don't mess with penguins.
