Is Josh a huge lib progressive? His browncoat scripts read like a Tea Party manifesto. Lots of conservatives in the industry adopt a left leaning or non-political cover to get and keep jobs. I honestly don't know.

I've been told Joss' favorite "charity" is NOW. That, and his series do seem to trend along the lib line (though Firefly does seem to read like a TEA Party manifesto).
Adam Baldwin (Jayne - Firefly, Animal Mother - Full Metal Jacket (iirc)) though is a definite conservative. he's a royal hoot to follow on twitter as well, too
