Re: selling bullets, sorry Jayson, my mistake. Ordinarily when someone mentions to me a quantity like eight hundred thousand (800,000) bullets I would assume you'd be selling them. And, yes that many bullets would very likely last you a lifetime. Of course too, you'd have both money and time tied up in your investment.

Re: the Lee sizing dies, I honestly would have no idea if they'd work. But it's worth a try at fifteen ($15.00) bucks a pop! If that single sizing die could derim say perhaps 5,000 cases, that'd pay for itself, and then some! Go for it, give that sizing die a try, and let us know how you make out, ok?

Re: cheaper die makers and die making companies. All I can say is, "You're going to get what you pay for." However, there are VERY, VERY, few bullet swaging die makers, that I know of. I know of only two (2), Richard Corbin, and his brother David Corbin.

Re: your plan of action, sounds good to me, Man. Just understand that each bullet requires about 5 handling steps, (in swaging I mean) and if you made a batch of only 5,000 brass pills, you're going to be swinging your press handle about twenty thousand (20,000) times. Unless you have a way to automate this, it's going to be a lot of boring tedious work.

Good thoughtful questions, though. I like that.

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, my wife and I just got back from a month working in Wisconsin.

I believe Chris just said that about pretty much all of us on another thread - good to know we were all low-lifes and dog gone lucky he and his buds were willing to even speak to us on their forum. Makes me all warm and fuzzy. To quote the famous Marine response, "We've been thrown out of better places than this."

Anyway, good to see you back on the forum. Both our wives certainly are good looking - wonder just what they saw in us broken down dudes.

And those are "antennae" - need to keep in communication with the "mother ship".

I've shot several of Jims swaged 55gr bullets and he speaks the truth!  They are accurate and strictly bad news on South Dakota Prairie Dogs!
Good read Jim!

Thanks Dawg for the plug.

Nice to see you on here!

I would like to introduce a friend of mine to the group

For the sake of his privacy I won't say much about him, other then to say if you look at his nickname you will realize his choice of professions.

Dawg, I forgot to welcome you, sir, to the board... It's my favorite, as you can see by the areas that I post in... By far and away, my posts are in here, period.. I leave the politics to the other forums, even though you and I do think a lot alike...
