My name is Chad.  I love the move "Young Frankenstein."  I decided that Dr. Chadenstein would be a nice name.  I am not a doctor, and I do not play one on TV!   Grin

When I was in college I really got into shooting and most of what we did was long range.  I aspired to be really good at long distance shooting and took on the moniker "ghillisniper" and then added the 300 because I shot a .300 Winchester Magnum.  Then I realized that I don't really desire to be anything close to a "sniper" due to the fact that I have a slight case of ADHD and can't sit still for longer than five minutes and I'll never be that good of a long range shot.  But by the time I realized that I had started a YouTube channel using that name and it had become mildly successful.  My friends who help me with it forbid me from changing my nickname so I'm stuck with it and still use it.

It's the name I used for years, on Mustang sites I used to frequent.

It came from a comment my neighbor made when I brought this car home...

which, over a few years, I turned into this.

I got the name Kaynelius sort of at random while playing an MMORPG by Simutronics called Gemstone IV. Prior to that I had the nickname of Kaine. So the evolution from Kaine to Kaynelius is about the time I started getting into firearms and subsequently firearms laws and rights.

Story behind my name is pretty simple... I love guns, 4x4 trucks, mudding, beer, JD and crown, very conservative, love my Lord Jesus Christ (perhaps he should have been first in the list), all be it I'm a noob at hunting and fishing, camping in a TENT.

I hate liberal views and ideology, I was a card carrying member of the Reform Party of Canada (god fearing extreme conservatism) before politics and mergers forced them to disappear.

I like Steven Harper (Our current Prime Minister) but Preston Manning is the only politician I have admired.

And most importantly, I love southern girls!!! God Bless the southern ladies!!

Been self-reliant, self-sustainable for virtually my entire 50 years (almost 50). Been involved in the Martial Arts for 42 years. About 30 years ago I began combining my love for all things "self-reliance" with my love for all things "self-protection" (combatives), and came up with the AYP (Are You Prepared) Network. I have 2 YouTube channels: AreYouPreparedTV & AYPNetwork.

Together with my Strategic Response Combatives (S.R.C.) & Women's Integrated Fighting Essentials (W.I.F.E.), the AYP Network welcome's people to a new way of looking at life.

So there you have it, that's the story behind my user name. We need to get back to "WE THE PEOPLE" and stop being "We The Sheeple"

Kawh is Hawk backwards.  Hawk was my nick name years ago and I used that as a user name when the internet was young ;0).  When Hawk became hard to get I changed to Kawh and have used that for about 10 years now.  Have Fun!

I'm a lazy shaver (basically never, though I do trim), and not a small man, so my wife calls me "her grizzly".  Got her a "build a bear" and named it Grizz.  I'm new on the gun and gun rights scene, and a little excited about the whole thing, so I went with "gunny".  I'm not military, but wish I had made that choice.  Props to any that served!!

The name "Proximo" is what I use almost everywhere.

It means "Next" in Spanish and I started using it as a gaming handle. When you went up against me, I was always ready for the "Next" victim. When I defeated you, I will say "Next".

As I got older It started to mean other things to me. I was always ready for the "Next" challenge in life and when I was down for any reason, I would dust my self off and say "Next".

I then started using it for a 3D Design and Graphics site I created and called it Proximo Studios and my slogan was "The Next level in Design".

I am in the process of starting a new blog that will use the name in a similar way but it's based on Productivity.

So where did I first hear this name and why did I like it so much. The movie "Gladiator". Proximo was the name of the old champion that was teaching Maximus how to win the cloud and his freedom. His name was "Proximo" because every man that stepped into the Arena against him died and the crowd shouted "Next, Next" in Spanish. Proximo.... Proximo.

So there you have it.

I've done some things that have made certain part of my body old before their time. (I was diagnosed with arthritis for the first time at 27 years old!) Add that to the fact that I shoot and you have a worn out shooter.

My family likes to say Toby Keith's "As Good as I Once Was" had to be written about me. I hope so, because I like to think I could be as good once as I ever was.

Welcome!

I'm a shooting Hamster too. A newly minted Technician class, sporting a mighty 5 watt Yaesu FT-270 on 2-Meter. I'm learning a lot, and hoping to someday take off the training wheels and step up to 6 Meter and eventually to 40, etc.

You'll like this place!

I'm a Fighter, and a Doc, and a Doc to the Fighters!

I've had a fair amount of martial arts training (really enjoy it, but hard to find the right school for me with my frequent moves, weird schedules and high demands).  I had a good number of matches and competitions around college and medical school, but over time backed out of that game as medicine and the military took a more prominent role.
After college I was Security Forces for a few years (spent a lot of time with the M16 and a bunch of other great weapons), and really enjoyed working with a great set of Fighters.
After medical school, I was assigned to a Fighter squadron (F-16s), what a great ride!
Nothing too fancy here, just a FighterDoc.  (Yup, considered being a ringside doc for awhile, but I definitely prefer the job I do!)

Virtually everyone that knows me from an early age knew about my love of firearms. After joining the USAF, my hunting buddies at Minot AFB tagged me with the nickname Blasterman. Since I'm a proud Yankee transplant to the Free Republic of Texas since 1971, I added the TX on the end.

Well Mark,

While deployed to Iraq my 2nd time I was with the 108th MP CO (ABN)(AASLT) AKA Doublestack 03-04, Warlord 05-06.  Warlord43B was the last callsign I use deployed.  I have used it ever since.

So for to break it down

Warlord = Company name
4 = Platoon
3 = Squad
B = Team

Your friend and proud Vet,

Warlord43B

Over, out
