 The NPR commentary I heard  said The senate will for sure stall this in committee.DOA  They have no desire to Vote on this and have to have a record of the vote. Esp in a election year. Even if they did vote and pass it out of committee and it passed the floor vote the president would Veto. Good that it got this far though.

Illinois Congressman Tim Johnson introduced HR H.R.3543 - National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011 on 12/1/11.  This would ultimately give right-to-carry to Illinois residents :
