WOW Shocking, I know I've been spending more and more time on GRRN. Now I see what it has done to the traffic to my Gun Rights Advocates Podcast site. http://gunrights.us

You don't have to be some sort of high paid analyst to read that chart. The good thing is as you will probably see almost the opposite for GRRN, which is good for all the network podcasters.

THat decline is an example of how you have an indirect impact Mark.

You are spending far more time on GRRN than on your own podcast, but as a result of those efforts you are able to reach far more people with a pro-2A message through the proxies of other podcasters.  That doesnt mean you are a poor podcaster, it just means you have brought a diverse group of Podcasts together to have a greater impact than you could by yourself.

I really enjoyed your podcast, however some people are ProArms types, some are Gun Dudes types, some are into "Shelton".  You cannot make yourself fill all those niches yourself but you brought them all together.  "One podcast to rule them all, one podcast to find them..." or something like that.

So, well done Mark! You have made a fantastic multi-media community that has added much to my life and hobby.  Thank you.

What Chem and CF say. I have to say that this is a singular forum. There is a variety of personnel here that allow for a rather wide reaching discussion. Sometimes it's just fun. Sometimes it's serious - indeed deadly serious. Sometimes it's gun guys and gals just talking. There is generally good natured fun with a little ribbing here and there but all in good nature and well taken. Indeed, if there was a statement to make, it would be something like this is a really great bunch of people to know. Thank you for your efforts. It pays off in enjoyment and information.

By showing this example of the decline in traffic to my website. I am just using myself as an example of what does happen when podcasters do not consistently engage the audience.

It also shows that if you do not consistently produce content for your website, web search engines rank you lower which obviously is a direct affect on the lower amount of visits you will receive. It's a cycle.
