I just finished listening to episodes 111 & 113, and even though I was looking forward to attending this class in May, now that I've heard the 2 interviews I'm ecstatic/over joyed/very excited/(and many other words) to be attending this class.
I learned a lot from the interviews and can't wait.

Thanks Bob for doing these interviews.
See you there,

Scott

Only 5 spots left in the class kiddies.  So if you're thinking about it, you better sign up fast before all the spots are gone.

Hope to see you there,

I met a guy at the Real World Gun Match in Dallas last weekend and we discussed this class.  I used my iphone and emailed him a link to the class registration.  Perhaps he's the one who signed up.  Anyway, glad it's filling up, I need to go buy a case of ammo this week or next and get stocked up.  I'm not going to get caught short like last time.  This is when I wish I was a reloader.

Whats holding you back?  You seem to shoot enough ammo monthly that you could really benefit from being a reloader.

When the only caliber I shot was 45ACP my Dillon got a weekly workout.  I used my handloads for IDPA, training, and plinking.  The issue I have with reloads in classes is every class I have taught or taken there have been ammo related issues with handloads.  At least one in every class!  That's one more variable that can be removed by using factory ammo.  Right now Win White Box 9mm is 19.97 for 100 rounds at Wal-Mart.  I rather spend the $100 and concentrate on what I'm learning than have to worry about my stuff working.  I still allow guys to bring their own though.  Just don't forget the squib rod.

Jon, just to clarify, I'll be using factory ammo for the class.  What I meant by reloading is for every day shooting matches, where if I have a malf, I don't care.  But not for your class or for big matches like Double Tap.

I hope he did to. He was in my squad an he and I were the RWG "first timer's" that weekend. The days are counting down and I'm looking forward to another good training class.

Not sure what you're looking for but found some Speer Lawman 124 gr. for $239/1K shipped. Can't really figure out a good way to send you the direct link so here's the main URL and you can search for 9mm ammo.

Don't forget, there will be one lucky winner who listens to my show. Just $15 gets you a copy of my "Shooter's Club" exclusive podcast, and one free raffle ticket for the drawing May 16th.  Plus I think you will like the discussion on the special podcast too. Next week's show on Monday, I will be announcing some extra giveaways too.

Hey, that looks like a good deal.  Never heard of RWS, but that's the nice thing about a Glock, I usually don't have to worry about ammo type too much.  124gr at 1160 fps, should give me a good "snap" on each shot.  I like to train with fairly hot loads.  I like to use loads as close to the feeling of my carry ammo, as much as possible.

I've shot about 400 rounds of RWS when I couldn't get hold of anything else. I didn't have any problems feeding it to my M&P9. The only thing I noticed is that I seemed to get more powder on my arms compared to other ammo I typically use.
