I have an excellent condition Beretta Model 92FS (identical model to the m9) that I would be very glad to send up to Utah to let Shaw use for MAG40.

I'm local here in utah and wasn't able to buy a seat before it sold out.  I took too long trying to figure out vacation days and family reunions and trying to work the mag40 class in somewhere.  Since I am not going, he can use either my beretta 92fs or my glock 19 if he wants.  Heck, he can even use the ammo I bought for the class.  I'd be glad to help out Shaw.

You guys are awesome!  I bought my ammo for the course a couple of months ago and I'm working on getting my own Beretta 92FS Type M9A1, but I'll bring my WIFE's Glock 19 as a back up.

Yeah, but if it doesn't go through in time you can use my pretty full stainless model ;-)

The stainless model is dang sexy!  Daniel, if you want, you can always borrow some mags for the class, so you don't have to load mags as often.

I may just take you up on the mag loan, they are pricy.

I don't want to spoil a future show, but I'm excited about my next purchase, if it works out monetarily.
I am getting a great price on the M9A1, then I'm sending the gun to a good gunsmith to extend the factory front and backstrap checkering and to make the checkering a bit more aggressive.  I'm ordering some Mil-Tac grips in the most aggressive pattern or DPI/LPI?  Then I'm sending the gun to Joeseph Chetwood at Crusader Weaponry to Dura Coat the receiver in WWII olive drab and to apply his permanent slipstream treatment to it.  Oh yeah, and install an adjustable rear sight and extended mag release.  Joseph happens to be in Utah, so I will have him send it to Stan so he can drool over it in my stead until I finaly get to touch it.

I love custom guns and not just custom in the name.  I'm making this gun my own.  I might even try to talk Joe into adding it to his line of guns that he modifies.

I have 5-6 mags for the beretta, and I think I have 4-5 mags for the glock (not counting the 33 rounders)--you can borrow either or both if you would like.  Sounds like you are building a pretty sweet custom beretta setup, I look forward to listening to your gun review.  Daniel, you mentioned in the podcast you might be rusty and might want to practice a little shooting before the class.  If so, let me know, and I can donate some ammo for your practice session.
