This is BS.  Normally I am one of the 1st to defend Wally World from those who think free market capitalism is great, unless you are a big corporation....but this is about a corporation deliberately making a deal with the devil.

At least in the 90s  S&W made a deal with the government, who happened to be anti-gun.  This is Wal-Mart out and out making a deal with anti-gunners and wanting to still sell their wares to us.  I am done with them.  I will not buy any more outdoors equipment from them and try to minimize my commerce with them in general (I live in a small town, I have to deal with them a little).

Sometimes circumstances dictate what we must do.

In this case we would all be better served by limiting our patronage of Wal Mart as much as possible.

As an FYI, the press release is from April 2008.

My guess is this deal was made with MAIG to gain or maintain political favor with the mayors for business purposes.  I would be interested to know if Walmart was looking to expand in markets where these mayors are located.

I'm a f*****g tard.  Oldest trick in the book is to not read the date line.  My bad.  I am acting like this is new.  I was deployed when this came out, that is probably why I didnt realize it.  Sorry.

Date of article aside,

Wal Mart has been unfriendly to gun owners since Sam Walton passed off control of the business.
