Ron Paul has introduced a bill to get rid of the gun free school zones act.  This would be great for all CHL holders and we could actually see teachers with CHLs able to carry and stop someone intent on committing mass murder.

I'd be shocked if this passes and is not vetoed. I can hear the anti-gunners' spin on it now - "they want to put deadly guns in schools and our children's will be gunned down daily!" and "arming schoolchildren"

We have to start actively countering the anti's spin before it starts if a bill like this has a shot in hell.

I agree it is a long shot with the senate the way it is and Obama in there, but I think if we could get something like this passed the house it could make a hard vote for a lot of moderates that can't really vote against it.
