I think I am going this way for this episode:

http://leinie.com/beers.html

I have both honeyweiss and classic Amber in the pantry.  I have never tried the classic Amber.  I really like Original (which isn't sold in Texas) as well as Red which I can't find down here.  I am not big into their sunset wheat or the fireside nutbrown.  They used to brew one called Northwoods as a seasonal which was amazing, but unfortunately they don't make that one anymore.

It just occurred to me that I hven't had any rum on the show yet.. so I think with 2 folks talking about it.. I guess I will do that..
I will see about Pusser's (hehehehee.. he said Pusser's) and pick up a bottle of Sailor too.. if I can find them....
They are going to go down NEAT...  no mix.. no ice....   that would be like putting A1 on a Ruth's Chris Steak......
Anybody else?
Hey Mark... every drink any Sambuca?

If left to my own devices, it'd be a fine Highlands Single Malt Scotch in my hand.  Macallans for choice.  Neat, of course, with a just few drops of spring water to expand the flavor.

However, for the social wetting of one's whistle, a gin and tonic should do amiably.  Repeat as necessary. I find that G&Ts lubricate the vocal cords quite well.

You mentioned rum.  I saw that the wifey brought home ginger beer, which along with a sweet rum constitutes a sailor's favorite tipple: a Dark 'n' Stormy. Our way of walking on land like there was a rough seaway.

Doc, we'll need the alcohol if we talk about the flash riots, London anarchy, and what it means to us.  And we certainly should discuss them.

If you are going with Rum Doc my wife swears by Gosling Bay I think it is.  Give that a try.  We also have some Pyrat but it tastes sort of like a spiced rum like captain which she doesn't like.

Doc,

This is a late night show. You need some serious Irish Coffee.

You make that with two shots of Jameson, one shot of Kahlua, coffee, and some whip cream on top. The best part is that you drink this until you get tired, then just crash.

Now if ya want a beer - Capital Brewery Atuminal Fire - don't think it's out this year yet is most excellent.

I don't know beer speak but it's darn tasty beer.
