Well?  Where's the update on how MAG-40 is going?  I figures there's at least be a post that one of the Gun Dudes got live ammo and accidentally shot someone or that they pissed off Gail and are in the hospital.

Yeah, I realized that after seeing the GD's facebook posts yesterday.  Oops!  In all seriousness, I hope everyone at MAG 40 this week has a great time and soaks up the great information they are likely to receive - and that they are safe.  I wish I could've been there, but alas I'm stuck at work.

Have fun guys (and gals)!  I look forward to seeing updates as the week progresses.

I almost pulled the trigger on attending this class, glad I didn't.

The wife tore her miniscus two weeks ago, had surgery today, was told in pre-op that she has a node on her lung.

If I would have attended this class, I would need all the gunfighting skills collectively of the whole class when I got home...maybe next year.

By the end of the class I figure that mas will morph into Yul Brynner in Westworld, and the gundudes resemble the city slickers that showed up thinking that they were going to be the new gunslingers in town... Grin

I had to throw that in cause of envy.... Grin

Did you guys hear the GunDudes' microcast of last night?  They're hanging with The Mas and Gail, going to gun stores (free samples Mr Ayoob?) and sightseeing at the John Moses Browning (at his name, every GunDude's knee shall bend) Museum and Armory.  They're promising another podcast tonight -- if Gail doesn't bayonet Carl. (They'll put "Wut Youz Gots?" on his headstone.)

Dang, I wish I could have gone.  But like Trailboss, I'd have needed some serious self protection moves when I got home.

Trailboss -- The best to your wife and yourself.

p.s.: I've got a Fiver that says Mas cleans the GunDudes' clocks... even if Tommy does the math.

Hope for wife is having a speedy recoverey. I had knee surgery myself a few years ago, don't let her get lazy on the rehab. The more she puts in the better.

Thanks, she starts rehab today which is the day after surgery, the Dr. at the CORE institute here is pretty agressive on rehab, she is dreading it...

Class is done, and it was fun.  Lotsa GRRN folks there including multiple podcasters.  Big kudos to the Gun Dudes for setting it up. They did a great job.

Stay tuned for Gail's BroadCast interview with the wives of the Gun Dudes, a/k/a the Gun Dude-ettes... Shocked

...and Carl learned the folly of calling Gail out for a pistol match.  He learned Ayoob's Law #29: "When dealing with cannibals, never say 'eat me,' even in jest."  Grin

For those of you who are not on Facebook, I had to put Carl in his place.
No, Carl, you're not worthy.

Thanks to Mas, Gail, the Gundudes, Jon Hodoway and all the local staff that helped for one incredible experience!  I learned so much and can't wait to do it again!  Everybody that carries should take a MAG40 atleast once.

Thanks,

Yes.. also akin to even whispering the word "bomb" at a TSA checkpoint.....

Carl .... WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU SMILING IN THAT PIC?  "HURT SO GOOD?"
In that case.. how is it that I can become Gail's "bitch" for a weekend too??
