In the recording Tuttle says to tase the most agressive person first and then use it as a stun gun against the other attackers. Maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't the cartridge shocking the initial attacker have to remain attached to the taser to remain effective? Also, didn't he spend most of the show saying how ineffective stun guns are? Why is the stun option a selling point then?
Why is the 3 shot option not available to civilians, when 15+ shot glocks are? Is there a law against 3 shot tasers being available to civilians, or is it a corporate decision on Taser International's part? It might be unwieldy for daily civilian carry, but I could imagine a taser X3 being useful for home defense. My wife doesn't feel safe using a gun when first waking up, but would be fine with a multiple shot taser.
