Hi folks, I need a remedy for 2 squeaky holsters. I normally use kydex but thought I would give leather a try. I had 2 holsters made from the same holster maker. the maker advises to apply neutral shoe polish in/on the belt slot area in the event of squeaking. I am either doing it wrong or, not using the "right" brand or type of neutral shoe polish (I'm using kiwi in a can). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, and I hope the whole proarms family and extended forum family have a joy filled holiday season. Dennis

DW,
Nice initials by the way.....
They are right the powder works.. and if using polish, make sure to actually put some in the slots and on belt as well.  Are the belt slots of the holster plied leather? As you wear it that will start working its way out as it softens up.  Personally, I actually like them a little squeaky ... reminds me that they are top quality leather.... hehe......

Thanks Doc, Dale & Flop-Shank
To answer the question, the slots do appear to be plied together. Also, I am wearing a rigger belt (nylon). I will give the powder a try.
Doc, your point is well taken. however, people already say I squeak when I walk and now the holster confirms it; hehe:-) Dennis
