I had some fun going to an IDPA match with a listener today.  I interviewed him about being in a gunfight, that will be Episode 157, I think you will enjoy it.  Here's my final stage.  My reload is too slow, but I was only 2 points down for the stage, so I'm satisfied with my accuracy.  I need to speed up now.  The delay you see after I'm finished shooting is a quick after action assessment, without breaking any safety rules in IDPA.

One thing that I saw you do that I should to start doing is when the RO says to "empty and show clear" that I need to use it as a "free" dry-fire opportunity to release my gun's striker/hammer. I do tend to stop and scan when finished with the stage, partly to keep in the habit of looking for more bad guys but also to see if I've failed to neutralize any targets and make up a shot, if needed. (I shoot at the DPC Real World Gun and Personal Protection matches.)
