Hi new to your pod casts Bob, great job! Posting from the great state of VT with all the guns laws we don't have! I have always been a 1911 guy but for the last two years have switched over to revolvers. I train with some friends half are LEOS here locally. Most are undercover and use the revolver due to its easier concealment. Your podcast on revolvers was rather short and seemed to miss real facts for us. first off the K frame was never mentioned and should have been to to it's service history. It represents the middle ground of the two you discussed it is a six shot gun rather than 5. A lot of revolver carriers like ourselves carry multiple guns on our person which handles the issues of "lack of rounds" we feel more guns is better the one jammed up auto. Revolvers don't jam up with lint and when a misfire happens just keep pulling the the trigger and the gun will go bang. We do a lot of one handed point shooting and i feel the revolver is better suited for this than a larger semi. If you can not handle practicing with 158g ammo through a steel 2" stick to 22lr.

Just my two cents.

Very good points and thanks for listening.  I kept it short and don't talk about revolvers much because I've never owned one and never spent much time shooting one.  I don't like to talk at length and at detail about things of which I don't know much about (a problem some podcasters have.)  That's a disservice to the listener.  So, what I may do in the near future is interview someone who's pretty knowledgeable on revolvers.

Very good points, however I must say I haven't had too many jams with my semi autos, especially my Glocks.

Why do I carry a gun?  Because I can't carry a Cop!
