In this weeks gun podcast, I spend a few minutes talking about an old show I came across on the Discovery Network called 'The Colony' and how some of the skills shown in that television series would be beneficial for a Real World 'SHTF' Scenario.
In the news this episode, I start off with an article that suggests Pennsylvania abandon its 'PICS' (Pennsylvania Instant Check System) and move to the NICS (National) system to reduce budget costs for PA State Police. In Georgia, the NRA is pushing for a bill that would ease carry restrictions in restricted areas. Lastly, a woman is dead after being accidentally shot in a church.
Featured content includes Emily Miller's (of Washington Times Emily Gets Her Gun series) issues with transporting a firearm in Washington DC, Weer'd Beard picks apart an anti-gunners talking points, and an anonymous officer from California recommends getting a weapon, learning how to use it, and not relying on the police to be your only source of protection.
The Cigar and Drink pairing this week is the Emilio AF1 and 'Donut Shop' coffee.
Before closing out the show, I spend some time talking about a USPSA Stage Design Seminar that I attended this past weekend.
