Even after people posted comments about it being a joke, knuckleheads still commented about it as if it were real! Seriously?!

Personally feel that the "other thumb safety" is going just a hair too far... and I'm blaming the Lanyard Loop Shortage on the Obama administration. The new regulations they've imposed have all but killed domestic lanyard loop manufacturing.

Hope I don't have to wait for the Glock revolver for one to finally look good.

Heck, Chem, people already buy pretty much anything that is made. Look at all the real 1911 clones out there - they sell like hotcakes. Doc, I think you should ONLY accept a revolver if it is striker-fired. Personally I am waiting for the "revolver" that doesn't actually have a revolving cylinder but a fixed tubular magazine and the barrel where there is usually a cylinder pin - which is no longer needed as the cylinder doesn't spin. You load it by pressing in the rounds. Loading gate can be had L or R sided. And, of course, striker fired. Grip would go straight back, and trigger would press upward. Come to think about it, I guess it would look kind of like the old German potato masher. With the barrel out the end, of course. ?Any takers. ( )

Come on Dev, you got to be a little more forward thinking than that! Guns styled like a WWII grenade? Sheesh. Get up to date with Glock's new 1911 clone that was... wait, wut? Ummm, nevermind. Put me down for two of the Potatoe (approved by Dan Quayle) Masher's in 45 GAP please.
-Kevin, waiting on my new Glock PM

See, the beauty of it would be that you would only need a night stick holder to carry it, not the myriad of holsters out there. And you could always pass it as if it is a "flashlight" - kind of new fangled. Can't really show you as it has internal "issues" - don't want all those right-wing reactionaries to learn about it.

Perhaps Glock and MagLite could team up... there's a switch, a gun in a flashlight instead of a flashlight on a gun. Dang John Moses Devereaux, I think you're onto something here... -Kevin, real bad impulse buyer.

This is good, Kevin.
Now we need Chem to convince the army to buy them for platoon commanders. They are dangerous enough with a Barretta - this might make them a touch safer. To themselves and their troops. And think of how it would work against someone assaulting your position - just point it like a flashlight and fire. Straighline recoil, too!
Too bad NS2 left - he would have bought two just to try them out. And he could be our agent to the PSD community.
And then .... I think I need some sleep.
