It's always good to hear about a citizen besting a BG, using a personal weapon. Still I worry that this guy won't shoot the next time, when he ought to have. "Pulling" his gun is not a solution to an armed confrontation. He is extremely lucky to have faced a criminal that was unwilling to shoot him. Most don't have such sensibilities. You draw your weapon while in a situation, you ought to be shooting.

In general I agree. But I'm not going to armchair quarterback. It's hard to say what you'll do in any high stress situation until your in one. I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just sayin...
