The Single Six sounds great to me. Price range in my local store is about 435.00. Does that sounds fair? I was planning on a Blackhawk in 357 but my son made me promisse a 22 first. I am kinda limited budget wise.

$435 is a good price on Gun Genie for the SS version. But -- I Live in SoKal. You might try http://www.galleryofguns.com for your area. I really enjoy my Single Six. My 6.5" is a tack driver. If you get yours, take off the stocks and drop one leg of the trigger spring off its peg. An instant ghetto trigger job! |

I know this will sound cheap but we settled for the Heritage Rough Rider Combo 6.5 inches 22LR/22Mag with the "mother of plastic pearl grips" . The store sold the 2 last Rugers Yesterday and we did not want to wait. We shot that rascal right out of the box and tell you what, I am really impressed with the Heritage. For an entry lever SA it performed really well. We put more than 200 rds downrange with tight groups at 15 yards. |

They're thin and heavily checkered -- and a mite bit spendy. A friend has a Heritage 22 SA with nice checkered grips. Call Heritage? |
