O'tay, this year's NRA Annual Meeting (NRAAM) looked like it was an absolute blast. 74k attended according to Cam Edwards. Next year's NRAAM is going to be in Houston, May 3 - 5th. I wanna go!  The NRA is sure not coming to Kalifornia, and Houston isn't tooooooo far away. 

Need a ground guide: Which venue? I'd guess there's not too many that can accommodate 80k gun gnuts. Houston Texan's Stadium? Any good hotels near-by that won't break the bank? I'd like to reserve as soon as possible. Anything else to be aware of? Other areas of interest? The wifey is talking about extending the trip to sight-see. 

Bob Mayne, are you listening? I think we'll need a Handgun World Show meet-up!

I am hoping to make it next year, we shall see if I can or not.  But when it is only a 5 hour drive away I can't imagine it is ever going to get much better than that for location.

I will be there for sure.  It's only 3 hours away and it's a business trip for me   Grin

There will be a HandgunWorld listener meet for sure.  It probably will be at Reliant Stadium.

Wow Bob! I knew you had a really big audience, but Reliant Stadium? Wink (just kidding, but had to poke fun) I sincerely hope that some day GRRN listeners can fill a stadium.

I don't think we know the venue yet.  The NRA website doesn't specifiy.  If the show is at Reliant Stadium, I have some hotel customers of mine near there.  I'll work out a deal with one of them.  Let's see what the venue is first.
