We have made a free Training Record available to download from our website (link below).

Training Records can be critical pieces of defensive evidence in the event you are named in a civil suit or criminally prosecuted for an act of self-defense. Our training record contains all of the necessary components to make your log a legal document (be certain to initial and date every entry!). It is formatted to allow for easy storage in a 3-hole binder.

Things to document:
- Training courses completed
- Training DVDs watched
- Relevant articles read (keep copies of the articles!)
- Mandatory credentialing courses
- Firearms qualifications
- Etc.

Keep copies of all training materials distributed during courses with your Training Record.

Glad you find it useful!

It is a critical part of a protection strategy for the armed citizen and private security. The ACLDN stresses maintaining a Training Record. I stress it in my private security training (which is where the tool came from).

It might also be useful in demonstrating continuing firearms education for those who must file training records for concealed carry permits and renewals.
