Lol.... I wonder where did you get that title from? Maybe inspired by my son's new SA Heritage? BTW I already ordered the new cocobolo grips.

I believe that's a quote directly from Patton when he as interviewed by Stars and Stripes reporter.
What is the Heritage like? I've been thinking of getting a bird's head grip model. Is the quality ok?

Smiley Yeah I know.  I am just joking around. I am impressed by the overall quality of that little rascal. It shoots pretty good and is very sturdy. The price is just right for 170 with LR only and 219 for the version with the 2 cyls.

I'll try to be there (have a potential schedule conflict).  I'll tell you now what one of my questions will be.  So, we know Blood & Guts carried an SAA on one side, and an S&W 27 on the other.  My question is, how the heck did he hold his pants up?  That's gotta be somewhere around 80 ounces (5 pounds) of guns alone.

It kind of puts the whining we hear these days about "heavy revolvers" into perspective.

Outstanding show, Doc.  I really like your and Average Joe's coverage of the classic firearms in your podcasts.

Jed I think i am going to use your topic on the guns for sheer heck of it for either the next cast or the one after that and try to set it up for call ins..  hopefully everyone will call in.. cause the topic is, as firearms lovers, we all subscribe to... very fun.. and easy to talk about!

Well that sounds great to me.  I'm in the mood to add to my collection, I want to get something for the sheer heck of it, so I'd love to hear what others enjoy.  If you set it up for call-in, I'd be thrilled to do so.
