What makes me feel absolutely sick to my stomach, Dev, is that I don't think I can really disagree with you or present a valid counter-argument.

Detective in Zimmerman case said he was pressured to file charges

More Documents released in the Martin/Zimmerman Case. (Updated)

Seems the racialists' "Rush To Judgement" is foundering upon the sharp rocks of reality.

I can only think the authorities are trying to let some time go by to let things simmer down. Callously destroying a man and the truth as a direct result. A calculated, cynical, craven, despicable series of acts.

If you read Jefferson's letter to William Smith (the one with the "The tree of liberty must be refreshed" quote) he addresses all the problems we are suffering today because of the SCOTUS. What initially struck me was the level at which he writes a common letter. Most high school graduates today would have no idea what he's talking about, if they'd ever take the time to read it...

We Didn't Lose - We Left

« Reply #23 on: July 14, 2012, 06:51:14 PM »

Education. Education.

We have been really remiss in not challenging the whole education cabal. I use that word knowing just what it implies. But what has been done to American education has been pretty much criminal. The Left has slowly and insidiously modified first who and then what is taught to our children. The result is that we have youth who have no real idea just who we are (and by extension who they are) and who have pretty much no knowledge of any of the founding principles of the nation.

I view a significant part of this has been that we have been timid in speaking out simple truth, and then demanding that it be adhered to. Take that whole fiasco about building a mosque beside the Twin Towers site. The whole argument was couched in religious freedom terms. The people objected, but were simply too cowed to say just what they really meant - that they were not going to allow the muslims to build a victory symbol at that site. Islam has done that everywhere they have conquered. The simplest example is the Golden Dome mosque, built on the ruins of the Temple. There is a lot of BS about Mohammed having come there, but there is no evidence of such. It is simply the excuse to pretend it is too holy to be touched. I personally think the jews should raise it to the ground and rebuild their Temple. It would be both fitting and proper. Wars have to have meaning, else they are gross loss of life to no purpose.

And WE need to stand up and say what we mean and believe. Look at Congressman Issa. He has been tap-dancing about this whole Fast & Furious issue. And NOT ONCE has he, or any other Republican, accused the Left and their minions the Democrats of using this excuse to forward their anti-gun policy. We all know it's true. But we seem to timid to actually SAY it. Note that no such qualms have held the Left back. They were perfectly willing to make a huge noise over Valerie Plame, an issue that was totally NOT an issue. Nor were they hesitant to accuse Karl Rove of the leak when they had absolutely NO evidence of that. Yet here we have lots of reason to believe this was done to promote a political point. Indeed, it makes absolutely NO SENSE otherwise. ?So why are we unwilling to blast it out from the rooftops. "The dems implemented a policy wherein people died so they could make a political point!" That should be on every conservative source. Instead we mulch about being mealy-mouthed. ?Think the people wouldn't be outraged with Holder if the terms were so stated.

We are our own worst enemies.
