Smiley I want to share this De Santis Gun Hide holster I just bought from Midway USA. This is not a review. Just some images.

Bob,
Those are the TALO grips and it's a factory option.  My 642-2 came with them.  I may still have them somewhere.

Smiley That's  right. Mine came with it too. One thing with j-frames is you might end up with a small collection of grips. Some are less good looking but very functional like uncle Mike's boot grips. I have from Barami to classic S&W grips with Tyler extension. Every time I am bored with the look of mine I go ahead and change grips. But when I carry I pretty much stick with the Uncle Mikes.

One more thing. The grip I have as my profile picture is an extended Hogue . It resembles the wooden grips you see on the video. The good thing is it really tames recoil in extended shooting sessions. It covers the back strap of the grip and it absorbs recoil pretty well. Interestingly enough is that for a lot of people recoil means a bad thing. I would say on a SD scenario is not very productive because  it would interfere with follow ups. But I must say that there are times when revolver aficionados go out shooting looking  exactly for "that kick". Like shooting a good Big Bore with Rubber grips. But that happens only on the fun side of the story. That might not be the case for the guys focused only on training.
