I'm glad to see Kim is getting his guns back. It's a shame it took two years. Legislation is being introduced to prevent this from happening to military personnel again.  I think it's a shame that the result is more legislation. I think the better answer would be to remove legislation that is so restrictive. Why make more rules for special people. I respect our police and military. I don't think they should get laws and rules above and beyond what the rest of us qualify for. Our Constitution is very clear. I think the correct answer here would be to remove any gun restrictions from DC as well as the rest of the United States as our Constitution clarifies for us.  Why is the answer always more legislation rules and regulations?

One can only conclude that DC is not in America.

I believe special notice should be taken of how the police behaved. There is a constant drumbeat about how we need to worry about officer safety. Here there was clearly NO concern for citizen safety. I am willing to bet that despite the fact that there was NO EVIDENCE of any crime, these officers executed an illegal raid, yet there will be no repricussions. ?Aren't police officers suppose to know the law enough to know what an illegal raid was.

During the dispicable tenure of Woodrow Wilson as president similar gross misbehavior of the government towards the citizens occurred. No one then went to jail, and no one will now. But they should.

True enough Dev!

What I am taking from this whole debacle is that justice can happen if you have a really good lawyer, a reporter, 2 senators, and a congressman on your side and about 2 years to wait. How many have had guns illegally confiscated in DC that do not have these advantages? Don't get me wrong, I am glad Lt Kim got his guns back, I am angry for all of those that have had them taken and not given back.

Look for some commentary on this on my next episode that will post Monday night.
