FNG from AK

To all who read this: Greetings from Alaska.

I've been a podcast enthusiast for several years, strictly fly fishing related though. One day it dawned on me that my other passion (shooting) probably had some good podcasts out there too. Enter Gun Rights Radio Network. I haven't listened to a single fishing podcast since the snow melted.(you know like 5 weeks ago)

I'm a recreational pistol shooter, mainly autos with the exception of my "bear spray" Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan. I'm a Mini-14 guy too. ARs are great, but I've spent nearly a decade lugging an M4 around interesting locations across the globe, I have little desire to own one (for now).

I'm gearing up for my first IDPA experience in a few weeks thanks to GunDudes. I'd never even heard of IDPA. I'm stoked to get out and get my stress on!

Recently traded a pistol I acquired on the sweet end of another deal for a reloading set up. I'm the proud owner of a used progressive press, dies for all the calibers I own, and the start of a long (but interesting) crawl up the learning curve. Reloading Radio has been on non stop lately as I replay the "basics" episodes over, even taking notes.

Now that its in writing I can see how much I've bitten off, but its a nice easy stress reliever for me considering my profession.
