Laugh at the Bastards!!!

« Reply #1 on: June 16, 2012, 06:26:13 PM »

OMG!

"...I would have walked across the street with my child and been surrounded by people wearing guns.”

Oh noes!

There'll be blood in the streets!. Shootouts over parking spaces! Mass killings by the swingsets!  Holocausts at the Merry Go Rounds! Drunken gun-totting rednecks everywhere! At least there won't be any killings by the Monkey Bars: we took them out years ago.

What?

Somebody burned the burgers?  How many died?

None?

Well... it's only a matter of time!

Sad to hear what passes for intelligent discourse nowadays.

Nice article, Adam.  Thanks -- and welcome!

So, you see people with holstered guns with their little kids around and are concerned that something bad is going to happen?   Roll Eyes       The picture of the father with his child says it all.

I would say that it is pretty patently obvious that Ms Hereen IS against the 2nd Amendment. Her concern about walking across the park into a group of regular citizens would probably have put her in the single safest place in all of Souix Falls at that moment - safer than the inside of a police station, where in addition to a number of cops there are probably a number of nasty folks too.

The logic is stunning (ly absent).

I cannot wait to see what the Argus has to print tomorrow. I only wish I could have been home and attended this event! I am glad that it went off well. I certainly hope that the exposure that you are getting grows your membership!

Are you planning on making this thing annual or will you do it more often like possibly later this year again?

Here is the follow up story that made the print version of the Argus-Leader. Page A4, and a 1/2 page article.

I like the headline of this one more, and although it is nearly the same as the online version yesterday, the tone does seem a little more neutral, maybe even on the positive side.

Again, great job Adam!
