Hello from Kentucky

I just stumbled on to this site yesterday. I watched a video on one of the forums and that brought me here after a couple of clicks. It was pretty good timing as I've been talking to a couple of friends about starting a podcast of my own. Some of the information you all have on this forum will save me a lot of work and effort in figuring things out if I do go forward with the podcast.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here through your posts and podcasts for those out there doing that.

Welcome Worn Out! I hope you learn much here and share what you know with us as well. As a new podcaster (just under 6 months) I can say in some ways it is easier than I expected, and in some ways harder, and definitely more rewarding than I thought it would be. Make sure you get to know Mark Vanderberg. He is the Benevolent Overlord here and has an absolute wealth of podcasting knowledge.
I look forward to interacting with you in the future!
Paul

The podcast I have in mind is kind of a catch-all I suppose. But will be geared mainly towards us "average Joe's" that see the need to defend ourselves and our families. I hope to illustrate the need for training both from a skills and psychological view and help people cope with reality rather than the world we like to live in where everything will turn out OK simply because that's what we want and believe will happen.
