Saw this on another forum:

http://www.12newsnow.com/story/19253451/shotgun-robber-not-successful

A member of the other forum is apparently a good friend of the non-victim (refused to be a victim).

Quote from: doc540
Just got home from spending a couple of hours with my friend.

He's doing well, but they took his gun until the investigation is complete.

So what does a good friend do?

I loaned him my CM9.

He said he not only didn't use his sights, he doesn't remember any loud noise or recoil.

He swept the shotgun muzzle away with his left hand, drew and fired across his lap with his right.

The perp saw the gun as he drew and began to step backwards.

When he fired the perp was moving/falling towards the rear of the truck.

It don't work like in the movies, friends.

A CCW victory! Why isn't this being reported as much as the Aurora Colorado shooting?  And it was a one shot stop!  It made the perp stop what he was doing, didn't it?

Hey wait a minute, the perp used a stolen car. What a surprise!  Do you think if guns were banned, he Would have also stolen a gun to pull off his crime?  For all we know, maybe that shotgun was stolen.
