Hi Mark,

I can't really even begin to thank you enough for all that you do. I know that what you do is a non-stop job and even though you do get personal satisfaction out of it, you also have to put a TON of work into this site (and the others), the advocacy work you do (fighting the gun buy-backs, working with your local gun groups, etc), and your own podcast. I know it all too well. In the past few years, I've been very involved as an NRA trainer (www.safe-tee.net), expanding people's minds, correcting their misperceptions about firearms, demonstrating proper firearms handling, and showing what we all know: firearms are nothing more than a tool. They have no evil innate nature and will far more likely be used for good than evil. I've also helped develop the "membership" coordinator position for a political action group in PA (FOAC - Firearms Owners Against Crime - www.foac-pac.org) after seeing that we needed to better utilize the resources (people) that we have to help communicate and mobilize our base to help enact the proper pro-gun legislation in Pennsylvania. We work very hard, and have dramatically changed the gun-rights debate in PA. We are in the process of organizing and promoting our 4th (very successful) annual rally in our state capitol on April 21st (www.2arally.com) to push hard for over 20 pro-gun laws/changes to laws in this year's legislative session. We have confirmed speakers Stephen Halbrook, Larry Pratt (tentative) and have either Chris Cox or John Sigler. (We have a goal to draw 10,000 people and effectively “shut down” the capitol to send a message that resounds for years to come.) This organization of this event showcases how difficult it is to get ordinary people motivated to do things and get involved, but somehow we always manage to do a very successful job. With determination and a clear goal in focus, there is nothing we can’t accomplish.

I know it can be very frustrating when you don't get much or any feedback, so I wanted to tell you that your message is being heard, and that you are a continued inspiration to many people throughout the country. We must all work together to stave off the never ending onslaught of attacks and lies used against us. Benjamin Franklin so wisely stated "We must all hang together, gentlemen...else, we shall most assuredly hang separately". Never were words more applicable than to today's political climate. Like you, I'm a firm believer that we will lose our rights if we do not work hard to preserve them. I religiously listen to the podcasts on the Gun Rights Radio Network and I've been trying to spread the word. I'm always looking for ways to stay ahead of the curve and not only further the groups that I'm specifically involved in, but bring attention to those that work towards the same end and partner with them in any way possible, which is partly why I wanted to write you today. I've been inspired by your work, and those of the rest of the network to do my part. I've been thinking seriously about doing more; a podcast, likely for FOAC with some help and content and input provided by our Chairman Kim Stolfer (an extraordinarily knowledgeable asset, he is the backbone to our organization) and as many others as I can get. I've only begun to realize the magnitude of this undertaking, but it's something that I would like to become a reality sooner than later. I’m not at all technologically challenged, as I’ve taught myself a lot in the computer realm, but I do have a lot to learn. I welcome any thoughts, suggestions, blessings, encouragement, and any promotion of the cause that you can provide. I would be willing to speak with you at any time and while can’t speak directly for him, I’m sure our chairman, Kim would not mind either. You do a lot for our cause, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me for anything that you may need in my neck of the woods (Pittsburgh, PA) at any time. Again, I appreciate your time, and your hard work. Stay safe, and remember, You have all of the rights that you don't let people take away.
