I was a student living in Orlando for two years starting in 1999. Back then, Orlando was not the safest place in Florida, and from the news that I occasionally see from there, it hasn't changed much. Like you, I am now also torn over Disney. I am taking my family there in a couple of weeks. I didn't know about their firearms policy until recently. I think about their policy and think that they are one maniac/terrorist away from a scenario in Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six" novel, but that can't happen because Disney is a "Gun Free Zone."
